Chat Terms

By creating an account, you agree to use Direct Chat responsibly and contact only people whose exact User IDs you know.

Your account

Choose a User ID that does not impersonate another person, organization, or service. User IDs are permanent unless the account is deleted. Keep your password safe; password recovery is not available.

Temporary attachments

Uploading is optional and is blocked until you accept the attachment notice. Pictures, videos, audio, and documents are temporary and are deleted from chat storage during the daily 4:00 AM cleanup. Text messages are not part of this cleanup and remain until deleted.

Notifications

If you allow browser notifications, your browser may notify you about chat activity. You can disable them at any time in your browser or device notification settings for lokeshreddy.dev.

Acceptable use

Do not use chats for harassment, threats, fraud, spam, malware, unlawful content, or attempts to bypass access controls. Do not upload files you do not have the right to share.

Moderation and security

Users can block and report accounts or messages. Only active reports may be reviewed for moderation and safety. This service does not provide end-to-end encryption; do not use it for passwords, payment information, credentials, or sensitive personal information.

Deletion and limits

You may delete messages, conversations, or your account. Deletion may be permanent and cannot be undone. Uploads are limited to 25 MB per file and supported formats. Rate limits may apply to protect the service from spam and automated abuse.
